Sproul Creative also offers custom blog design for businesses and individuals. Reach the world with your own message, as well as offering links to your tie-ins: company website, e-commerce shop, online portfolio, videos, books you’ve written. Your blog can function as the main headquarters to reach your customers or audience.
Here’s How It Works:
You choose a basic layout with 1-3 columns usually, and we work with you to develop your look and feel: custom header, colors, fonts, styles of headers, placement of images, background color and more. If you have search engine optimization keywords, we can used them in the title and description of your blog. You add them to your post body text, as well as in your tags (what the article is about).
Domains:
Your blog domain can be one you’ve chosen for free, like “companyname.blogcompany.org,” or we can help you buy a domain of your own and point it to the blog website: “companyname.com” or “firstnamelastname.com,” for instance. SproulCreative.com is an example of the latter.
No Programming:
The back end software is run for free by a great blog company, and very easy for you to update on your own: add pages, write new posts, check your visitor traffic.
Two Versions Available:
If you choose version 1, you use their server for free (nice word, isn’t it?). Generally there are plenty of designs to choose from, but fewer that have a customizable header image. See the description for more information. If you want to modify the CSS styles (font type, size, colors), a payment of approximately $30 per year is required. Note: This version does not allow Google ads to be placed on the site.
You will need to have a server if you choose to use version 2: we download the blog software to your server, along with any layout styles you want to use. There are more free plug-ins with this version, like Google Analytics, for example. And the CSS can be modified for free. (Hosting can be as little as $7-12 per month. The blog services (the whole back end) are still free.)
