Smart Businesses Write E-mail Address This Way

by D. Sproul | February 26th, 2009

I’ve seen far too many business cards with e-mails written like run on sentences: difficult to decipher where one word ends and another begins. And I just can’t take it anymore! Time to take a stand against pointless lowercase letters.

E-mail works just as well like this: Frank@BlueSkyPublishing.com
as this: frank@blueskypublishing.com

The first e-mail is much more readable on business cards, e-mail signatures, and letters, don’t you agree? And isn’t getting customers to remember your business what’s important?

On websites with live e-mail links, you can list the text that is shown as “Frank@BlueSkyPublishing.com” while the link still says this: “frank@blueskypublishing.com.”
